Baby Showers

My family and friends had a baby shower for me a few weeks ago. It was a lot of fun, mostly because almost all of my family and close friends were there. The decorations were adorable and we had some tasty fettuccini alfredo for lunch. Also my grandmother made strawberry shortcake, one of my favorite desserts. I left with SO much baby stuff, especially clothes. Our daughter will have quite the wardrobe. Here are some pictures. Notice the awesome diaper cake.

Also my friends at work threw a shower for me. Lunch was awesome because it was Mexican - my favorite. And strawberry cake flanked with Super Mom-To-Be which is now on my desk at work. We did have a special guest appearance by Jared, although my co-workers prefer to call him Baby Daddy.

Jared's co-workers also had a shower for us. The highlight of that was the Boulevard Wheat cake - it actually had Boulevard Wheat beer cooked into the cake.
